Raffaele Esposito was an Italian chef and owner of a tavern called Pizzeria di Pietro e basta così. In 1889, in the same restaurant, he has invented the most famous pizza, Pizza Margherita. The pizza was invented in honor of Queen Margherita and it portrayed the colors of the Italian flag, green (basil), white (mozzarella), red (tomato).
Later the tavern was sold and rebranded with the name BRANDI.
Till today Brandi is known to be one of the best pizza in Naples, which means one of the best in the world.
The pizza restaurant Brandi in City Walk opened in early 2012. Unfortunately Brandi is no longer operating in Dubai today.
